I search the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 12,000,000 surviving rcds for abt 65% of Irish counties. Rcds are increasingly sparse B4 1840, rare B4 1800.
Knockbrack is the name for 3 townlands in Sligo. Their areas are 293, 274, and 643 acres. These are relatively small areas by U.S. standards. I suspect you are using Griffiths. This is a poor excuse for a census since it only lists the names of landowners/tenants above some minimum property valuation and fails to list the names of others in their household. Also, 1 person may have several holdings.
If you really want to sort out the brothers, uncles, offspring, you would have to use the IFHF's B/M/D database for a range of yrs. Each B and M rcd should list the parents' names. For example in Co. Sligo there are:
For the surname Murphy: 585 B rcds dating from 1803 and 271 M rcds dating from 1811.
For James Murphy: 35 B rcds dating from 1823 and 11 M rcds dating from 1858.
For John Murphy: 48 B rcds dating from 1826 and 17 M rcds dating from 1826.
You can subdivide these numbers by parish within Sligo.
Note - this is labor intensive, but not too expensive.
If you want to view detailed B/M rcds to further subdivide the rcds by family, this gets very expensive - fast.
