I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 11,500,000 surviving rcds for abt 60% of Irish counties. Rcds B4 1840 are sparse.
For Margaret Lennon B 1851 (exact), I found 9 B rcds, but none in Sligo. The closest to Sligo is in Roscommon. She may not have been born in Sligo.
For Jennifer Lennon, I found 0 rcds for any date in all Ireland.
For William Lennon M 1846 +/- 4 yrs, I found 25 M rcds in various counties and years. For Julia Breen ditto, I found 3 M rcds, 2 in Co. Cork and 1 in an unknown county.
Overall, these results are discouraging. It may be that the birth/marriage events weren't rcd'd, the rcds didn't survive, or they haven't been digitized. At this point it is likely that ALL of the rcds I identified are false positives.
Google the Foundation's name to lead you to the database. Register, opt to be notified as rcds are added, and browse. Pls post your search results to my genforum msg.
