I recently learned that my great grandmother, Bridget Lyons Corey Born abt 1830 came from County Roscommon, Ireland. Here is what I know about her. She had one child, Mary Ann Lyons born in New Hampshire in 1852 (family records say she was born in Boston, but census all say NH.) They are listed with Anthony Corey (County Galway) in Olyphant, Pennsylvania in the 1860 census and Bridget has three more children with him and in the 1870 census is listed as Bridget Corey. I have found no marriage record. Any suggestions on what direction to go to find out a more defined area in Ireland?
