I have Catherine McDonnell, born about 1827 near Strokestown. She married John McCormick in the Strokestown Catholic church in January, 1845 and James McDonnell was a witness. The family moved to Bolton, England some time between 1864 and 1871. Son Patrick moved to Albany, NY with his family in the early 1880s. Some of Patrick's siblings may have been in the New York City area. Do you see any connection?
