Hello BJ
I located the marriage index for a Thomas Connell and an “Anna” Duffy at the Latter Day Saints (LDS) website at www.familysearch.org
The index shows that Thomas and Anna's marriage was recorded in the Roscommon And Kilteevan Catholic Church parish on 30 April 1854. This index may efer to your Thomas and Anne. The index is accompnaied by LDS microfilm source information for more research:

The source records are usually arranged chronologically by the marriage date.
Source Information:
Batch No.: M701831
Dates: 1820 - 1864
Film Number: 0989748 = Items 4 - 6 Parochial registers of Roscommon and Kilteeven, 1820-1881:
Marriages, 1820-1864; baptisms, 1837-1881.
Notes: Some writing is faded and illegible

The marriage of Thomas and Anna can be found in LDS microfilm number 0989748, which covers the Roscommon & Kilteevan Catholic Church marriages for the years 1820-1864, and baptisms for the years 1837-1881. This film can be ordered from your local Family History Center.
The full marriage record may contain the names of the witnesses to the marriage. Witnesses could be the brothers or sisters of the bride and groom, and even the parents of the bride and groom. Friends of the couple may have also been witnesses.
If Thomas and Anna were born in the Roscommon & Kilteevan parish, and were older than 17 at the time they married, their baptisms would not be recorded in the registers, as baptisms commence in 1837. But, if their parents were married in the parish, their marriage record may be recorded, as marriage records go back to 1820. If you order the film you'll want to see if you can find marriage records for Connells and Duffys in the parish registers.
Best of Luck,
Dave Boylan
