This database is not just a townland list; the table also contains a huge amount of additional data, including current map references, Barony, Catholic Parish, Civil parish and Poor Law Union names, Registrar's District, LDS film numbers and more.
In addition there is an illustrated explanation to the column headings in the Index database. If you want to know what a Townland is, or a Civil Parish or a Catholic Parish, or a Grid Reference, then this is a "must" for you!
