I am looking for a marriage record for John Gordon and Bridget Salter/Salzer. They married in Ireland between 1825-1840. Their son Patrick Gordon was married in New Orleans Louisiana in 1879 in a Catholic church. His parents were listed as John Gordon and Bridget Salzer, although her name could have been Salter.
Patrick and his sisters Annie and Delia Gordon were born in Ireland roughly between the years of 1830-1844. I have a source that says they were from Roscommon. The family emigrated abt 1853, probably to the port of New Orleans. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
