This marriage took place on 24 Jan., 1864 in Castle-plunkett, CO. Roscommon. John was born 20 Jun., 1840 but is listed as 26 on the marriage cert. Bridget is shown as 21. His father is shown as Mat and Bridget's as John.
John and his children came to the States (NJ) in '90 or '91. The chidren include Nellie (Ellen), Mary, Pat-rick, Kate, and Bridget. My gfather, Matt, is not shown with them as he was married about '95 or '96.
John's wife is not with them on either the '95 NJ census nor the 1900 US census, even though he lists himself as married (as opposed to widowed, etc.) in 1900 and that he has been so for 36 tears.
Any info on ancestors of John or his wife would be appreciated.
