It is very difficult to read messages written in upper case.
Breanamore townland is in Tibohine civil parish and Loughlynn Catholic parish. It is in Castlereagh Poor Law Union and Ballaghaderreen Registrar’s District.
For further details of Breanamore townland look in your local library for the ‘Resource County Roscommon 2007 CD’.
Visit www.leitrim-roscommon.com and look at the Poor Law Union map, Tibohine Civil parish map, Loughglynn Catholic parish map, the 1901 Census, and Griffith’s Valuation.
The 1901 Census lists likely parents and siblings of your Mary. Thomas (50), Catherine(40)-John(16)-Annie(14)-Thomas(12)-James(9)-Kate(5)in Breanamore townland, Tibohine Civil parish.
The Griffith’s Valuation on the same website lists the land held by a number of Finan in Breanamore townland in 1857.
If you check LDS film 867961 it will show the change of occupiers of Breanamore townland from 1857 to 1920. This will allow you to pinpoint the land held by Tom Finan in 1901.
