I am trying to trace the laine or lain decendents
i have a thomas born in 1874 in castle plunket. He had a brother called patrick and a brother called john.I believe john served in the 1914-18 war then went to america i know he lived in brooklyn Then i think his decendents moved to philadelphia. It seems to be a very unusual name.Because his brother patrick came to england and was called lane. But when he died we found out he was called laine.but in 1874 he was called lain in castle plunket.Hope this jogs someones memory
