Hello Ellen, If your Dixon, Casson, McDonnell, and Flynn ancestors were Roman Catholic, you may be able to learn more about them by searching the Catholic Church parish registers for Tullamore, which was in the Kilbride Civil Parish, Ballycowan Barony. These registers, covering baptisms from 1809 to 1881, and marriages from 1801 to 1880, have been filmed by the Latter Day Saints. See below for information and film number for these registers: Parochial registers of Tullamore (Offaly), 1801-1881 Authors Catholic Church. Parish of Tullamore (Offaly) (Main Author) Notes Microfilm of original manuscripts, Diocese of Meath, at National Archives of Ireland. FHL BRITISH Film 926186 _________ Order film number 926186 from your local Family History Center. If your ancestors belonged to the Church of Ireland, you will need to contact the Church of Ireland parish priest and enquire about the process for searching the parish registers. I believe the Church of Ireland has set fees for research of parish registers. The Church of Ireland registers for Tullamore commence in the year 1805. Below is contact information for the Church of Ireland parish priest: The Revd. G. G. Field, St. Catherine's Rectory, Church Avenue, Tullamore, Co Offaly, Ireland ___________ Best Wishes Ellen, Dave Boylan Notify Administrator about this message?
