He married a Prudence (no idea of surname - although could be Morton or Armour). Marriage probably happened in Ireland - but I don't know for sure. All of their children were born in Canada from about 1834 to 1851. I have no idea when or where James and Prudence died or where they are buried.

Their children were John, William, James, Armour, David, Edward, Alexander, Johnston and Sarah Ann.

They were all farmers.
