More information on these families:
Although a relative in the 1960s recalled "Grimes" as the husband of one of the BROWN sisters of Killeanly, this surname was actually GRAHAM.
We are looking for any connections and descendants of:
WILLIAM GRAHAM of Lowart married _____ BROWN of Killeanly (both locations in Errigal Trough parish, Co. Monaghan) by about 1845. Their son William Jr. "Willie" Graham married Elizabeth OLIVER in 1879 at Minterburn Presbyterian Church, Co. Tyrone. Some or all of the GRAHAMS are said to have emigrated to Australia.
Rebecca BROWN, sister of Wm. Graham's wife, was born about 1819 and married ROBERT HADDEN in the 1840s. They lived at Glenkeen, Aghaloo parish, Co. Tyrone.
Another BROWN sister from Killeanly married an ARMSTRONG or a man named "Armstrong HARTFORD."
I'll be glad to share research notes on all these families and would love to hear from descendants.
Annie C.
