Cootehill, being right up at the Monaghan Border attracted Monaghan people to its churches. It all depends on where they lived (i.e. the Townland name) - I have maps showing the location of townlands which are quite different from the online maps. The problem with many Catholic Churches is that they do not make their Records widely available to be copied. Clones Parish, which you mention, has been reduced in size several times - Clogh & Roslea, both in County Fermanagh, have now Parish status whereas they were previously included in Clones Parish. Likewise Drummully is now a separate Parish as is Aghadrumsee. My direct e-mail is jack.storey@btconnect.com if you wish to contact me directly.
