Lindsay/MacKay in Naghill Drumstat
Posted by: Lindsey Finken (ID *****6806) Date: September 09, 2010 at 16:43:04
  of 888

According to the 1851 census of Lanarkshire Scotland,
my LIndsay/MacKay line were born between 1820 and 1835 in Negil Ireland. Naghill is the closest connection I can piece
together for the town name. Since some other Lindsay's who match my Lindsay Line DNA are from fermanagh, near Enskillin
that is another reason to pick Monaghan County.

Anyone else looking for these surnames?

Thanks

Parents were JOhn Lindsay 1799 and mary Crawford Lindsay 1799
