My great great grandfather was Patrick Cassidy and he was born in Mucker, County Monaghan. His parent were Peter Cassidy and Ann Watd. He had the following siblings: Elizabeth b. 1849, Charles b. 1851, Patrick ( my gggf) b. 1853, Anna born 1859, Peter b. 1861 and Alice b. 1867. There may have also been a John Cassidy. Elder Peter Cassidy died in 1874 and Alice Ward Cassidy died in 1918.

Patrick Cassidy married Catherine Martin (from Donaghmoyne) in 1881 in Liverpool England then came to the US first to Hartford CT then to NYC.
