I just discovered a NYC Emigrant Bank entry from 1853 that might give a location for my Monaghan Coyle ancestors. It says native of, what looks like, Rue 2--- from Ballibayo Co Monaghan. I figure Ballibayo is Ballybay, but what could "Rue" be?

Name is Denis Coyle whose father is Owen, mother Ann McCabe is dead as of this 1853 entry. Denis has a brother and sister, Patrick and Rosey, both in NYC. Denis is married to Rose Duffy, with a son Owen. I believe Denis's brother Patrick is my ancestor.
