Hello John,

Thank you for writing. I am in contact with Owen Smith's descendents and they are cousins. In looking at the Irish Ordnance map it appears your Michael lived beside John and Owen Smith. Owen lived in Faltagh and John lived in Rossnaglogh East. My great grandfather, John, said he lived in Rossnaglogh. Yes, I would think there is some sort of tie. Maybe we can compare notes.
