Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Ted and Leon...

I have a lot of information on this McCarville family that migrated from County Monaghan, Ireland to Willow Springs, Lafayette Co, WI in the mid 19th century. The HOWE & WOODS families were also from County Monaghan.

I maintain the McCarville website on myfamily.com. There are about 35 members of this family communicating on this site.

The family has recently published a 2 volume genealogy with information on the Howes & Woods. They have had annual family reunions for years. Last year it was in southwest Wisconsin. We toured the cemeteries in the area including Holy Assumption @ Willow Springs & Holy Rosary @ Darlington. Next summer the reunion is @ Prince Edward Island in Canada where several McCarville branches settled.

My email address is darose@yosemite.net
