I am researching the family of Hugh Howe (1802-1886) who is buried in the Holy Assumption Cemetery. I visited there last week and found the stone for Hugh Sr & Hugh, Jr but could not find one for his wife Ann who died in 1920 at the age of 105.

Does the directory you have from 1979 list any other Howe's buried in that cemetery?

A grand-daughter of Hugh,Sr's married a Thomas McCarville in 1915 in Darlington (Mary Kathryn, daughter of James Howe and Mary Cassidy).

I am going to try and contact the Catholic Church in Belmont and see about the cemetery records.

Thank you for your assistance. Leon
