I have just started my tracing and I am stuck in Jacksonville Illinois. The earliest Sullivan I can locate is,coincidentally a John Sullivan(surprise, surprise) my great great grandfather. his son was John P. Sullivan his son James Joseph and my father John. If anyone can get me out of the Jacksonville IL area I could use some help!!! John P. married Mary Shay in 1888 in Murrayville IL
