As if! This is a leap, I know, looking for a specific Kennedy in Ireland, but I know my GGGGrandfather, John Kennedy, was born in Ireland circa 1798 (from info on a US Census) and married Elizabeth or Mary, born in PA probably around 1824 or 1825, as their oldest child, Thomas, was born in 1826. (also found on US census) He died before 1870 (no longer found on census) because Elizabeth lived with Henry , her son-in-law, on the 1870 census. Thomas Kennedy changed his name to Canady (or the census taker did). Does anyone have a Kennedy/Canady relative who emigrated prior to 1826 to the US and lived in Pennsylvania? Thanks,
Ann
