Is this the record you found that suggests Eglish:

Name: John Watson
Gender: Male
Christening Date: 27 Mar 1823
Christening Place: EGLISH PARISH,ARMAGH,IRELAND
Birth Date: 23 Mar 1823
Birthplace:
Death Date:
Name Note:
Race:
Father's Name: Robert Watson
Father's Birthplace:
Father's Age:
Mother's Name: Mary
Mother's Birthplace:
Mother's Age:
Indexing Project (Batch) Number: C70081-1

I would be looking through the parish records in Eglish to see if you can find a marriage for Robert & Mary, or the death of the other children.

The Church of Ireland records are available through the LDS from 1803 onwards.

In the Tithe Applotment records, there is a Robert Watson noted in 1833 in the townland of Tamlett, parish of Eglish.
