Hi, looking at the Tithe Applotment books for co Tipperary the following Nicholas Burkes appear;
1829
townland: Rath McCarty
parish: Kilbragh
1825
townland: Booleen
parish: Templeneiry
1827
townland: Graiguefrahane
parish:Loughmoe West
1825
townland: Pollough
parish: Templemore
What I would do next is to go to the closest Mormon Library and check to see which of these parishes have records that have been microfilmed for the time period that your interested in and check to see if you can find Nicholas' birth. Remember the Irish always seem to be 5 years or so off on their actual birth year so check from maybe 1803-1814.
you may already have these but I thought I would include them anyway.
