Burial place of Christopher Halpin died 17/03/1978. Hackney, London

My name is Joseph O’Brien and I am doing research into the Family Tree of my sister’s husband Patrick Halpin. I have a death certificate for his father Christopher Halpin who died at Hackney Hospital on 17/03/1978. His date of birth was given as January 1894 in Ireland which is correct. He was a retired Carpenter from 45 Rendlesham Road, Clapton, E5.The informant was Edward Halpin, son of 34 Glenhill Park, Finglas Road, Dublin, (Ireland)
It is not known by the family where he is buried. Is it possible that there is a record somewhere of his burial? We would be grateful for any information you can provide us with.
If you do not have this information could you suggest where we could seek it?
Thank you for your time.
