John H. Forney/Farney family from Ireland

I am looking for information on the family of John H. Forney/Farney. The 1900 US Census for the Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory Oklahoma shows that he was born in Ireland as was his wife (Anora). They have 7 children living out of 9 born to this marriage. The older 4 children were born in Illinois; the eldest (1879) in Rockford, Winnebago Co., Illinois and the remaining 3 in Springfield, Sangamon Co., Illinois. The younger 3 children were born in Oklahoma Indian Territory.

The 1900 US Census record shows they came to the US in 1879, but I cannot locate them in a 1800 census record or in passenger lists. John was born abt. 1858 and Anora abt 1864, both in Ireland.

There is a tree on Ancestry that shows his wife's name as Elizabeth "Lizzie" Conley, but I have been unable to confirm this information.

The children are:
Anna b. 15Jan1879 in Rockford, IL
Mamie E. b. 01May1884 born in Springfield, IL
William b. Jun 1885 in IL
Elizabeth b. Jul 1887 in Illinois
Catherine Ann b. 27Dec1890 - Oklahoma
Nora b. 25Sep1894 in Oklahoma
Grace Margaret b. 30Aug1898 in Oklahoma
Thersa b. abt. 1899 in Oklahoma
James J. b. 22Aug1901 in Oklahoma

There are several Forney/Farney families in Illinois that are old enough to be a sibling of John. The family are miners.

Please contact me if you have any information, especially on John and his wife. I have made considerable progress on the children, but still have information lacking.

I would love to share information on this family.

Thanks,

Jessica
