This is a hard one. The reason is records were open that early. They were church records. What I found interesting when I was doing the records in Dublin, records I looked at the maiden name of the say godmother was not listed. I asked them in the library and the man at the desk said because the women were not important back then.I was Shocked.....
My dad was from Pittsfield. They have great places that will send you the info. I got some of my family records from there.
