Sullivan's/ Sullivan County cork and Kerry
Hi, we live in Australia, the ancestor Lawrence Sullivan was in 24th foot regiment, sentenced as a convict to Aust in 1828. Arrived 1829. Have traced his military records (Timeoleague was place of birth in about 1803/1805). The name that has come through the family is John Giles O’Sullivan/ Sullivan. There are a few records relating to John Giles Sullivan?O’Sullivan from Ireland. 1834 Church Warden St Peters Church City cork. 1834 John Giles Sullivan married Elizabeth Scott at Diocese cork&Ross, County Cork. 1846 John Giles Sullivan 25 North Main St and Fitton St Finbarr was in Slater’s muster as a Tanner. Also in 1866 Address Dursey Allihies John Giles Sullivan a son Mortimer, 28/03/1866 mother Mary Sullivan and sponsors Michael and Johanna Leary. Hoping some one can shed some light on any information about John Giles or Lawrence.Thanks, any information would be appreciated
