Hi John

If you google 'Towns in Ireland" you will get a Wikipedia site which gives lists of Towns/Townlands/Parishs etc etc.

However there is nothing beginning with Dum in Cork or any other County. Most likely starting with Dun Drom or Drum.

Closest name I could find in Cork is Dromnafinshin. I know it doesn't look like Dumformastine, but the port in Dublin- Dunlaoghire is pronounced Dunleary , so who knows ??

Cheers
David Dwyer
