Just realised I hadn't added any useful information as hadn't read the end of your message re McMullen family in Terrace St. What was Mary McMullen's maiden surname? - its possible she was visiting relatives in Ireland - McMullen is a surname found most often in the northern counties of Ireland so perhaps it was Newcastle County Down. Did Mary and her husband marry in US or in Ireland? If Ireland may be able to find a marriage cert record.
