Also, I have run across things on family search that say some of the siblings are Scotch, and as has been pointed out to me before, sometimes it depended on how the questions were asked during a census.If they asked "where are you from?", they may say where they are living, and it was entered as such.But it is interesting to find they listed nationality as Scotch, meaning they either knew where the family originally came from, or it may have been where they were born.I keep hoping to run across the piece of the puzzle that is missing, so I have even volunteered to spend some time entering records at family search, hoping that I may run across some info that hasn't been put in yet.If anyone who reads this wanted to do the same, it's free to offer your time, and you can do it at your own convenience.Again, thanks for any help anyone gives, as it is much appreciated!
