I have not been able to locate a passenger list. We believe they disembarked in New York. We have never been able to find record of Mrs. P. Cullen's first name or her maiden name or when she died and where she was buried. We do not have record of her husband's first name or if he came to the USA with her in 1836, or before or after she did. Verbal family history indicates they may have come from County Tyrone, Ireland. All three of Mrs. P. Cullen's children came to Wisconsin. The first record of them living in Wisconsin is the marriage certificate of James Cullen and Bridget Kelly dated December 4, 1853 (Milwaukee, WI). After the Civil War, Michael, married Anna (Kate) Signager. He lived in the Calumet County, Rantoul area. His date of death is unknown. All three of the Cullen brothers (James, Michael, and Peter) served in the Civil War. James died in the Civil War. His body was not returned home. He is buried in Louisiana. Peter (my great grandfather) married Catherine McCarty. She died in 1870. Peter married his 2nd wife Louise Plate in 1871. The relationship of Thomas Cullen that accompanied Mrs. P. Cullen and her children to the USA has never been determined. He did come to Wisconsin with the children. He died at the age of 63 in 1869. He never married. We have a pretty good history of those that came to Wisconsin. We just cannot trace their history before coming to the USA and Wisconsin.
