Okay -- Your posting:"We do not know how long the Cullen family stayed on the east coast before they eventually made their way to the Milwaukee, WI area. James married Bridget Kelly at St. Gall Catholic Church in Milwaukee on December 4, 1853. Shortly after they were married they moved to the Menasha, WI area and then purchased a farm in the Brillion, WI area. Around 1859 they purchased a farm in the Township of Rantoul in Calumet County, WI. They had
4 children:
Thomas James b. 1858,
Mary b. 1859,
Peter Philip b. 1860
Patrick b. 1862.
James fought with Co K 4th Wis Cav during the Civil War and died and was **buried at New Orleans June 13, 1865**. In 1905, Bridget and her son Peter Philip went to live in Taylor County, WI.
...James' younger brother (Peter - my great grandfather) now lived in Town of Little Black, Taylor County, WI. One of Peter's sons (John Peter) was my grandfather and he was married to Mary Ann Schaefer."
