McFarlane/McFarland
Interested in whether anyone can connect to any of 3 possible brothers. Charles, John & James McFarlane/McFarland who arrived in Quebec Canada in May of 1888. The ship was the Circassian and left Liverpool on April 20, 1888. The passenger listing has Charles as being 30 (? hard to read, might be 20?); John was 19 and James was 17. They are listed as Farm Labourers. I believe they may have been from Northern Ireland. Also on the passenger list was a William McCutcheon who may have been my Great Grandfather. The transcribed passenger listing says he is 30/31 but I have been told the image actually says 21. He is also listed as Farm Labourer. He ended up in Southern Ontario. William was from somewhere in Tyrone County and his mother is supposed to be a Mary McFarland. If this listing is my Great Grandfather, then the 3 brothers on the same ship might actually be related to him and they may have travelled to Canada together. I would love to connect with anyone who might have family history for any of the 3 McFarlane/McFarland boys and know where they came from. All info greatly appreciated - THANKS
