Thanks Kathleen, the Joseph Cook you mention would be my grandfather, my Dad was named after him. The Cooks from Warragamba would be my cousins wifes site. She wasn't able to get much on Richard either, i don't know why she thinks the Richard who died in Wagga was our Richard. It has him as being born in England and i was led to believe he came from Wales. All very confusing for this old head of mine.
Don't think the kids were Catholic but will check that. Unsure of the Richard who died in Cooma 1870, but possible infant. I have a son of Richard & Rosina, Richard G Cook born 1869 Cooma so it may well be him.
I'm certain now that to solve all the confusion i will just have to get marriage certificate and from that i will follow up with both Richard & Rosina's death certificates.
Thank you so much for your help, you're a gem. I appreciate all the help i can get.
Cheers Kathleen
Rhonda Cook
