Do you have any other records which might narrow the search?
Perhaps your gggrandfather's marriage record? Just for fun, I looked at the 1901 census for Ireland to see where Barnetts were living. The majority were in the counties in Ulster, with a good few in Dublin and some in Cork, and a scattering in other counties. None at all in West Meath, though.
I would be looking for his marriage record, his children's birth/baptismal records and their death records. Was he naturalized? Perhaps you can find that record. The older ones are less valuable in terms of information provided but sometimes you get lucky.
I'd do the same with Margaret.
