I search the IFHF's online database @ ROOTSIRELAND.IE. It has abt 19 million B/M/D and other records for MOST Irish counties. Records before 1863 are increasingly scarce and almost non-existant prior to 1800. Early B/M/D events either weren't recorded, or the records haven't survived.
For James Toner B 1900 +/- 1 yr, Co. Donegal, with a father forenamed Pat(rick) and mother Frances McLaughlin, I found 2 records.
For a Pat(rick) Toner and Frances McLaughlin marriage in 1890 +/- 10 yrs, somewhere in Ireland, I found ZERO rcds. B/M/D registration was civil and mandatory after 1863. If they married in Ireland, this record SHOULD exist. Contact the General Register Office at WWW.GROIRELAND.IE to explore this further.
Hope this helps. Good luck and happy new year.
