BRIDGET WATTERS/PATRICK QUIGLEY /DUNDALK
I am tracing (or trying to) my grandmother's family in I believe Dundalk - her father was JOHN WATTERS (shown on her marriage certificate as deceased and that he was a carter/journeyman??She was born in 1878? and moved to Birkenhead, Cheshire, England where she married my grandfather WILLIAM KAVANAGH in 1904.
Patrick Quigley used to visit us (my Gran lived with us until she died in 1949) and we used to call him 'Uncle Paddy' - I have a feeling he was a cousin?? of my Gran's.He was still living in Dundalk in 1968 when I went on vacation to Ireland from Canada (I had emigrated in 1965).He lived at 13 St. Gerard's Square and he took me to a wedding that day in Carrickmacross - some distant cousins of mine.Any help with this would be much appreciated.
