according to 1871 census Annie was born in Romaldkirk,Yorkshire
for Joshua Bainbridge I found 2 births;March 1838 and September 1842 both in Teesdale.More than likely the first Joshua died as an infant and the next son was named Joshua.
if you go onto familysearch.org you can follow the family through the census including discovering Annie parents(there are two possibilities if you use Matthew and Annie's childrens names as guide).Also go onto BMD indexes which is free and you can look up births,marriages and deaths in England beginning in 1837.Hope this helps,Kim
