Though there were plenty of direct sailings from Ireland to the US, by far the busiest departure port was Liverpool, with the shipping agents often throwing in the cost of passage to England free, as a part of the deal. Far more emigrants left via Liverpool than from Ireland itself. So you need to consider those records too.
