Hamill family County Antrim
Posted by: Thomas Hamill (ID *****1038) Date: October 02, 2012 at 07:23:45

In tracing family roots I can trace back to My gr,gr,Gandfather Archibald Hamill born in County Antrim area in 1804 and Maried Elizabeth Murray. They emigrated to Scotland during the famine. Have been unable to trace Irish roots on the public records as births, marriages, and death's were not recorded for Catholics at that time. I don't know were I might find those records in the Catholic church's records. Any help would be appreciated!
