John P. Hamill, possibly born in Co. Tyrone in 1829, is my great grandfather. He emigrated to Phila circa 1856. His wife Sarah Watson and daughter Mary followed in a year or two. John P. ran a successful tavern in Phila for many years. He died in 1905. His children were Mary, Sophia, Thomas J. and Sarah. I'd be happy to answer questions and learn more about the Hamills.
