I am sorry about a mix up on my part.
Let me begin again.
I am researching the family of Joseph Holland & Mary Ann Anderson married 1857. On the marriage certificate of Joseph & Mary Ann John Holland is given as f/o Joseph.
1861 I find a John Holland living on Lodge Rd and I believe this to be the same John Holland given on marriage certificate. Joseph was living on Corporation St. at the same time just a short distance.
1875 Eliza Holland d at home of Joseph with Mary Ann Holland attendant. Eliza is buried at Blfast Cemetery plot 56A with children of Joseph who is buried in 57A next to he4r. I believe her to be his mother as I find no other reason for her to be there. Buried also in the same plot is a Maud Trimble age 2 1/2 years b 1881 d 1884.
For yeaers we had tho9ught John Holland had married Eliza Jane Dugan-I now believe he married Eliza Trimble. There has to be a family connection for Mayd to be buried with this family.
Later I find that in 1855 Bridget Holland married John Trimble. They had a dau Margaret b 1856 and a son James b 1858. James married and moved to USA Pennsylvania,Alleghaney County, Bridgett Holland Trimble and his brothr4e John Trimble came with him.
ince I have been completely unable to find anyone that is researching Joseph Holland family and not yet interested enough to see what we might find together I think that there is a possiblilty that Bridgett might possibly be the sister of Joseph Holland. Can I prove it? Absolutely not but I am sure trying. How can a family just disapear and there is not anyone connected to them.
I have the total family of Joseph Holland and Mary Ann Anderson in place-who married who-who had children and who did not-where all are buried except one dau, Mary Ann Holland who married a man by the name of John Alexander Morrison in 1902. Can prove all births and death except Mary Ann. She just completely eludes me and once again there is not any interest in assisting me in searching.
I thank you for each reply that you have given and having been so willing to assist. You will never know how much it has meant to me.
Joseph & Mary Ann had a son Fred Holland who married Margaret Luke and they came to the USA 1904/05. I married into the Holland in 1958 and began my research of them 1977 when our dau began college as a project she was working on.
