Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

In Reply to: Cherry - Loughrea by Goff Eland of 94933

Goff, looked at a couple of trees on ancestry and the researchers are saying he was born in co Londonderry 1811.Also,found his death cert and it says the following:

Blaney Cherry
died:25 Sept 1895
Waterloo,Preston,Ontario,Canada
age:84
born:1811 Londonderry

There are a few Cheerys in Londonderry in 1831 census but you would need more info to identify if they may be part of your family.Kim
