Moris Tobin and Margaret Burns or Barns--Child John Maurice Tobin b. 1861

I have been looking high and low for information about Moris and Margaret Tobin. They are my great great great grandparents. Moris could be spelled Morris or Moras. His name could also be Maurice. Margaret's maiden name could be Burns or Barns.

The only record I have found of them is when their child, John Maurice Tobin was married to Elizabeth Tippet in 1881 in Knox Co, Illinois. They eventually settled in Minnesota, Silver Lake area.

Moris and Margaret's son, John M was born in Iowa about 1861. One census said 1863. John declared both of his parents born in Ireland. Although my grandmother says that Moris' parents could have come over to the US shortly before he was born.

Other than that they are a complete mystery to me. Any information would be most welcome!
