I have just located two of Etty Dunne's brothers, right under our noses, in Tasmania, Thomas Dunne 21 yrs and James Dunne 17 yrs; both tried at Wicklow on 22 June, 1847 for the same crime of stealing a sheep. Transported together on the "Blenheim", for a term of 7 years and both, to Swanport, Tasmania. "Arrived in Van Diemen's Land, 2 February, 1849". There is absolute confirmation in the convict record that they are "ours", with mother's name, Mary and bros, Patrick, Timothy and William. There is also a note stating that sister Etty was previously transported. Wonder if any Dunnes of Wicklow have a William Dunne with three missing siblings??
