Before 1824 Patrick McAvey left Ireland. He had a wife Lillian C. last name starts with a 'P'. There's question if Palmer or Polvier or neither.
They had a son born about Nov 14 1824 . Sources say 'on the Atlantic' and also Quebec,Canada. Patrick went by the name Peter and his first son was named Patrick. I will call the eldest Peter from here on. Peter became a U. S. Citizen Oct 1853 the records are missing but he moved
to the US in 1825 according to the governments index card.
Also it appears Lillian may have died somewhere and Peter married
Catherine-Mary last name unknown and she went by either name also born in Ireland.
Some information suggest Peter was born in Killbride,
Lastly Patrick the son went sailing until he married. His wife's named is Mariah 'Mary" Marie O'Neil father William, mother unknown, said born in
Scotland about Jul 1828. They married April 6, 1850 in Boston, Ma.
I have quite a bit on them during their life in Maine but not before. Thank you so much for suggestions and help May you all be well blessed. Lori
