Just realized the dates re the marriage seem strange -- married just a month before he died. It would seem perhaps that they may have been married in a civil marriage somewhere else and married in the church while they were in Ireland. It would be worthwhile to get the original of the marriage record from Dublin to see what additional information there might be.
