Ashley,a few things to help.According to the death cert for Cornelius,he was born in co Clare so I looked there.

1901 Irish census:
Cappalea North,Killaniv,Clare

Daniel Maley age 72,head of house,roman catholic,born Clare,farmer,married
Ellen Maley age 64,wife,roman catholic, married, born Clare
John Maley age 32,son,roman catholic,farmer's son,single,born Clare
Thomas Maley age 29,son,roman catholic,born Clare,farmer's son,single
Daniel Maley age 26,son,roman catholic,born Clare,farmer's son,single

1901 Irish census:
Cappalea North,Killaniv,Clare

Margaret O'Malley age 50,boarder,roman catholic, born Clare, single(she is listed as boarder in house of Anne Merritt age 60 and her son Thomas Merritt age 23)(I believe she is either an older sister to Cornelius or a younger one to Daniel)

Death:
name:Daniel Maley
born:1827
died:July-Sept 1905
registration district:Ennis,co Clare

1911 Irish census:
Cappalea North,Kilanniv,Clare

Daniel Malley age 40,head of house,roman catholic,born Clare,farmer,married 1 year,no children
Winifred Malley age 21,wife,roman catholic,born Clare,married
Ellen Malley age 76,boarder,roman catholic,born Clare,widow
John Malley age 42,boarder,roman catholic,born Clare,farmer,single
**Ellen is Daniel's widow and John is her son and brother to Daniel,Thomas and Cornelius

Marriage:
Daniel O'Malley
date:Jan-March 1911
registered:Ennis,co Clare

Death:
Ellen Malley
born 1830
died Jan-March 1914
registered in Ennis,co Clare

I looked at the Civil Registration lists and found the following for the three brothers;

Thomas Mally 1875 Tulla
Thomas Maley 1874 Tulla
Thomas Maley 1866 Tulla

Daniel Maly 1869 Tulla
Daniel Mulloury 1872 Killadysert

John O'Malley 1870 Kilrush
John O'Malley 1872 Ennis
John Maly 1869 Tulla
John Maley 1871 Scarriff
John Maly 1865 Tulla

Just looking at these I would be inclined to think the registration district your interested in would be Tulla.Cornelius' birth didn't come up as Catholic registration didn't start til 1864 and I believe he was born before that.
Also,in Griffiths Valuation 1848-1864,I could only find 2 listings country wide for Daniel O'Malley/Malley/Maley/Maly both being in Cork in Dungourney parish-townlands Glenbeg and Ballysimon. This could be Daniel but I'm not sure.I also found in Griffiths a listing for a Cornelius O'Meally-townland Dough:Kilkee town:Chapel St-parish Kilfearagh. If Cornelius was the oldest son it is possible this could be his grandfather if his parents used Irish naming patterns.
What I would do is go to the nearest LDS(Latter Day Saints)library to you and start going through parish records starting with Tulla registration district.Bear in mind, the spelling of the name can vary with every person recording it.Also, get a birth cert for one of the sons as it may give exact residence. These are available from the GRO,Roscommon. If you go onto www.familysearch.org and look at the Civil Registration lists they have all the info you need to request a cert from the GRO and you can find more than 30 listings for possible other family members post 1864.You will have to use the parish registers for pre-1864 including Cornelius. If I can help further, let me know.Hope this helps,Kim

Spellings for name I've seen:
O'Malley
O'Mally
O'Maley
Maly
Maley
Mally
Malley
Meally
