Yes - I have the birth certificate and it does give the names of the parents. The 1901 and the 1911 census show where those parents (as well as their children) were born. At least it shows the County, ie: Louth or Tipperary or Dublin or Galway.
As you can tell, the family moved around a bit even in just this short period of time.
I am almost positive that I have found the marriage in Registration District Rathdown which is where the first of their children were born between 1895 and 1902. But I need to get hold of the microfilm that has the entire document. I hope. So far I have seen only the index of the marriage.
So in short mother was born in Louth / father was born in Tipperary / marriage in Dublin ca 1895 / first children born in Dublin / later children born in Galway. . . .
The reason I asked for further resources is to try to identify the PARENTS of the couple who married in Rathdown in 1895. How many William Flynns do you think were born in Tipperary between 1870 and 1875?
The names in this family were all very common. Who knows if I will ever be able to decipher which belongs in which family. But I can give it a try.
Thank you for writing. And any ideas you have are much appreciated.
